They look so cramped like that that being able to place them like that at all seemed more likely to be the bug to me, especially compared to how they can be placed vertically.

Even though it looks like I can't place gun turrets right next to each other horizontally, the game will allow it.

I'm also getting this, but I noticed that my save from the previous version loaded fine, so I tried saving THAT to a different name with 0.10.1 and loading it. It works, surprisingly, so combined with that other thread, it seems likely to be related to replays.

The save is linked above. It was 38 MB in the save folder and in .zip format, so I'm assuming that's as compressed as you're expecting?
