Re: The motherland must expand!

The secret is loads productivity and speed modules, and their combination. I have miners working at >80 pollution a piece.

Re: The motherland must expand!

also, I'm mass producing speed and productivity modules. I'm saving 30% from mining, 20% from smelting, 40% from each component in resources, and it adds up. Signal transmitter's effects can stack, and I'm abusing this to make some oil wells run at >400% speed.

Here's a closeup of the main assembly http://i.imgur.com/a9i4XUd.jpg Mother of... That is some serious pollution! You should put effectivity modules in everything, and the biters will never bother you again. Also I've had games where I've surrounded huge areas with walls and bases have never...

reaching my graphic memory limit

So I've had a game running for well over 100 hours and created a veritable cancer upon the doomed world I've arrived on. At some point I had to enable low graphics mode due to me running out of graphical memory, and now this is no longer sufficient. Wasn't there some kind of experimental extra-low-g...

The motherland must expand!

I'm expending resources at an alarming rate.

The solution: grab huge tracts of land and expand my production. This isn't over until this entire planet surface looks like a circuit board.

Re: [0.10.0] bad allocation

Actually this seems to be the problem with all my saves from before the update. New games don't produce this problem though. While, shamefully I'd admit, the saves have over 90 hours invested in them, this problem seems only to have surfaced immediately after the update so I suspect that it might be...

Re: [0.10.0] bad allocation

In addition, while the game is demanding a lot of ram at this point, it's still way below the available amount.

[edit] also, I have half a terrabyte of free space

[0.10.0] bad allocation

After updating the game I loaded up a game I had going for quite some time, and it ran fine for about thirty minutes, but when I tried to save I was met with this message: http://i.imgur.com/XfDLl75.jpg Now, I can reload the last autosave without any problems, but any attempt to save the game causes...
