Thank you for the suggestion, however it is the same result.

I've tried uninstalling Factorio and re-installing.
I've tried deleting "small-pump-up.png" but it's the same error.

When the automatic update download finishes this error appears.
What can I do to remedy this issue?
Is there a way I could manually download the update .zip file? I could just copy ...

For those who still can't figure out how to update:

1) Start up the game.
2) On the Main Menu screen, click "Options"
3) On the Options screen, click "Other"
4) On the Other Settings screen, click "Enable Experimental Updates" check box (second from the bottom)
5) Click "Back"
6) Click "Back" again ...
