Re: 0.13 Count Perfect Chest Item Count

With the changes in 0.13 and with logistics robots, getting precise item counts has become a lot harder, for a while I thought it was actually impossible. I wanted to create a chest with 5/5 robots and a roboport for picking up when I create a outpost maintenance network, but logistic robots did so...

Diplomacy?

As an Engineer in the the employ of GDI, we always seek diplomatic solutions before any conflict. However, when encountering an organization like NOD or this species of alien in their current state, I often find myself having to slay large numbers of either or be slaughtered myself. I'd like to see ...

Re: Tiberium, from the Command & Conquer universe.

[Koub] Topic moved to Ideas/requests for mods. Tiberium won't make it into vanilla, but can be interesting in a mod, along with the adequate harvester mod maybe ;) https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=12747 https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=120&t=18311 (these won't wor...

Omg, you're the guy that made the Ion cannon mod. Let us have a moment of geeky silence as we praise GDI

Re: Is this a terror game?

All the soundtrack tell that, my 12 years old niece, says she cannot see me playing this because of the dark environment and the scary music, frequent nights with creatures attacking. basically this game scare the shit out on innocent creatures. Now only on curiosity if someone knows the answer, wh...

Re: Best way to defend

I played through the game on ez mode -- very few, small biter nests. Launched rocket, had fun. But trying to play on proper "default" difficulty I'm finding... difficult. The biters seem unpredictable. I'll try to build a few turrets where they last attacked, and the next time they'll ski...

However, I do like your idea for a fourth pack besides alien.

In general, this game can be jam packed with much more, and the horizon seems so show a lot of promise.

Re: Is the jump from science pack 2 to 3 too large?

Science pack 1 has the player get familiar with basic automation - mines leading to smelters leading to assembly machines leading to labs Science pack 2 requires more complex chains to be established, particularly the inserters, but it's not a huge jump. Science pack 3 has steel, which is odd since...

Tiberium, from the Command & Conquer universe.

As a huge, and long-time fan of that series, I often find Factorio's graphical style and music familiar to "Tiberian Sun" an iteration of the Command & Conquer universe that features a ravaged Earth based around a toxic green (In some cases blue) crystal which feeds off of most mineral...
