Now that 0.18 is out (in beta), I wonder what will happen to Industrial Revolution mod? It's no longer compatible with the latest version of Factorio, and the author apparently doesn't want to support it or release it for other potential maintainers. It's really sad, since IR is the highest-quality...

Weapons and armor behave much the same as pickaxes, you craft them once and keep them equipped forever. I like most of these posts. Shotguns are better against bases- they don't use a full piece of ammo per shot, and deal better damage against the bases then smg does. So they're cheaper/better options for taking down bases. Also, I love the feeling of the combat shotgun with speed upgrades- feels good...

It's a known issue.

Unfortunately the fix will be in 0.17 since we can't change map generator without creating glitches in existing saves.

This GUI is a lot nicer- I actually like looking at the forum now, whereas previously, it was very busy. And the login function is smoother!!! Now I can immediately go back to where I was after logging in, instead of having to go back to the link that I used to get here. Very Nice!! :D
