Re: [Linux w Intel GPU] Most of the graphics missing
Hey MF-, yes, its the Intel onboard grafics version. I explicitly bought a laptop with strong computing power and no dedicated grafic card, so I won't be tempted to play games during lectures; lucky factorio came out just when I'm about to finish studying :D. The "card" can allocate some m...

Re: [Linux w Intel GPU] Most of the graphics missing
Uppon request: running fine on a lenovo T410 notebook with Intel® HD Grafik 4600 and Kubuntu 12.04. Got rid of the warnings by converting the pngs following the advice in this http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/125612/warning-pdflatex-libpng-warning-iccp-known-incorrect-srgb-profile. But again: ...

Re: [0.9.8] Factorio sound delays
Hey again, I did try a fresh untar and took a look around. While having long loading times at the start and a lot of warnings (incorrect RGB .. and chunk does not match ..), I could NOT see the grafic problems mentioned in the threads you linked. Game looks fine. The png "fix" did just imp...

Re: [0.9.8] Factorio sound delays
Thanks MF-, i'll take a look at those solutions. I did search the forum manually for sound issues and didn't see any threads; using the search function is ingenious! :p For the png issues; Factorio was loading very slow (about 2-3 minutes to start) and printed masses of ICCP profile errors in the co...

[0.9.8] Sound && PNG-error fix for performance improvement
Hey, running factorio on a kubuntu 12.04; game loads fine but when I click menue items or harvest resources, the sounds play with a good secound delay. The only modification I did was dealing with the png ICCP errors (http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/125612/warning-pdflatex-libpng-warning-iccp...
