Re: Biome resource variation
I like this idea, especially the parts where factories would receive bonuses in certain areas. Mostly though, I would like to see some mid to end game ores that only occur in specific biomes. Imagine needed magmite from a lava biome, where cooler towers are required to keep the area from overheating...

Re: Between belt and rail: MiniCarts!
Trains aren't autopathed, every peice of rail is user decided, sure you can choose to go point to point with the blueprint planning it but that will screw up other things, And the train's routes are set by the user, sure multiple stations can share names but the pathfinding between stations has it'...

Re: Between belt and rail: MiniCarts!
Auto pathing is OP and ruins the why's of the way factorio is currently designed If I understand correctly, are you then not arguing that trains ruin factorio? I have never used logistic robots because I think that sort of auto-pilot does ruin the experience. For example, creating a factory that on...

Between belt and rail: MiniCarts!
TL;DR Belts are fun. Rails are way cool. But there is nothing between... Enter the minicart! What's a minicart ? A minicart is a small vehicle that would serve a unique role in the distribution of goods through a factory. Currently we have belts, rails, and logistics robots to deliver goods, but we...

Intermidiate objects with a lifetime
Hello, Right to the point: I think it would be cool if there were a number of materials or intermediates that had a limited lifespan. You would have to produce them and then utilize them within their lifespan or they would go to waste. This would make simply handling and creating this type of object...
