What's your response? Why are you asking for feedback when you've already received a lot of feedback and done nothing with it? At the very least make the statement "we have no intention of changing anything", because otherwise it's disrespectful to ask for feedback - you're just wasting people's ...

Is there a way to get you guys a more informative crash dump on that one that might point to what my setup might be tripping on?
Yes, open Console.app, tap on "User reports" at the left bar, and look for factorio crashes in the list. These reports should at least have better stack traces than ...

just had the same issue on latest Mojave. Figured out that it was caused by custom libc++ that I've installed into /usr/local/ three years ago :) it was shadowing more recent system library and caused crashes on launch.
