But yes, tested the blueprint now and that worked too Thank you!
Will need some more time to figure out how it works though

Re: Keep exact # of items in remote chest with circuit network
Yay it worked...for some reason :P Haha the reason is "circuit magic" :) Glad it's working for you! Out of curiosity - what are you using it for? I meant that quoting you worked this time, for some reason. Have not actually tried your blueprint yet, but am going to do that now. Kinda forg...

Re: Keep exact # of items in remote chest with circuit network
Let's Try Again Ok, got it! Thanks so much for the help. Don't fully understand by your description but I'll play around with it and figure it out :D Regular inserters get a stack size of 2 at maybe level 3 stack bonus research, and a stack size of 3 at max stack bonus research. Oh yeah, you're righ...

Re: Keep exact # of items in remote chest with circuit network
I'm not 100% sure this is where your +1 comes from, but you may want to enable "set stack size" on the left inserter. Assuming you have a stack bonus, it will always pick up 2 (or 3) items even if the circuit says it only wants 1. To make that work you will need to invert all your signals...

Keep exact # of items in remote chest with circuit network
Without boring you with to much detail of what exactly I want to use it for, I want a chest in a remote location to keep a specified amount of a certain item, without having a belt full of the stuff all the way there. In other words I want an inserter at my iron plate production to send 20, and only...

Re: Multiplayer pointer
Thank you, tried finding a mod yesterday but failed. However it is sadly currently not available for 0.15 :'(zabszk wrote:It's already implemented in mod called "Map Ping" and it would be nice to see it in vanilla.

Re: Multiplayer pointer
Yes! This would be extremely useful, especially when introducing new players to the game, so they can easily tell wich building/part of building you are talking about. I hate having to run around and standing next to what im talking about.

Re: Circuit network help?
You can count the number of items going into the belt and the number of items the inserters load into the supply chests. So a counter getting a +1 pulse for each item entering the belt and a -1 pulse (using a arithmetic combinator) for each item the loading inserters pick up would output all items ...

Circuit network help?
I'm trying to better understand the circuit network, so I am trying out different solutions for problems in my base. One such was that (before i updated to laser turrets) I had belts with ammo going from a factory in the center, out all around the base, resulting in alot of ammo just lying there not...

Re: Friday Facts #140 - Soon
I really liked to see filter stack inserter. However I haven't noticed it right away, 'cause it has quite similar graphics to regular smart inserter (guessing it's a placeholder) I believe the smart inserters will be replaced with these stack filter inserters, just as the smart chests will be remov...

Re: Friday Facts #140 - Soon
Ok so I am a total newb when it comes to the circuit network. I have played around with similar systems in other games but always have a hard time wrapping my head around it. I think I understand how the example in the expansion base works, but what is new that allows it to work, that wasn't there b...
