One suggestion: With the change to the quick-bar no longer being a second inventory, that frees you up to make a very simple Quality-of-Life improvement. As a WoW player, the utility of this idea should be pretty obvious.
But up/down arrows on the side of the quickbar. Have three different ...

Re: Friday Facts #173 - Nuclear stuff is almost done
There should be SOME sort of meltdown or disadvantage/inefficiency towards improper management.
My suggestion would be that a nuclear reactor 'melting down' doesn't destroy anything, but instead goes like this:
1. Nuclear plants have TONS of health. Very slow to disassemble/destroy. (60-120 ...

Re: Friday Facts #164 - Nuclear power
A few thoughts.
One, Molten salt, refined from stone ore, could be used from nuclear plants, and hauled with tanker trains.
More important thought: Meltdown.
I don't mind the idea of a meltdown. I like that you can't make your nuclear plant too efficient without some serious fine-tuning. It ...

[Koub] In fact these topics are really about very very similar subjects. Topics merged.
Honestly you should not have merged my post in there. Just because they both have the word 'Nuclear' in them, doesn't mean they need to have the same things discussed, or that discussing them both won't be ...

Nuclear Power Suggestion: Fuel Breeding Mechanic
The latest FFF asked for suggestions on nuclear power, so I figured I'd throw out a mechanic I haven't seen suggested yet, and open it to criticism and refinement.
Largely I see a lot of complicated, sophisticated suggestions for making Nuclear Power, and I don't think that's a way to go for ...

Re: Friday facts #151 - The plans for 0.14
Idea for Nuclear. Different mechanic than what's been suggested so far.
My idea takes inspiration from the 'Thorium Molten Salt Reactor' craze going about (yes it's a good idea, but also yes there are some fundamental problems with it).
Basically U-233 fissions, neutron hits Thorium atoms, Thorium ...

So... when are you guys going to make programmable blueprint placers for roboports?
Finalize that one capability, and people could make bases approaching Von Newman machines - fully automated bases that will detect running low on resources, scout out expansions to new resources on their own, and ...
