Hm. I think I would use it, if it works with the middle mouse, but add that the transfer rates should rise. For example like so:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000 ...

Perhaps some better algorithms (repeating clicks, means different...) So, with some clicks and roll ...

Factorio does have a good bunch of hotkeys and modifiers for manipulating stacks but I feel one specific function is missing:
