I have a heavily modded game, and a bug in the Turret Shields mod caused some shield entities to be left behind after the turrets were removed, so I tried to remove the mod to force them to disappear. [edit: the key with the word "control" printed on it behaves as "control." So it's not the *exact* same behavior legendre6891 has, since they're using ctrl:nocaps and I'm using ctrl:swapcaps, but I believe it's the equivalent behavior to expect if both are the result of the same...

I happened to delete a train wait condition in the moment when the game is unresponsive preceding an autosave, and then after the autosave finished (which appears to be uncorrupted) the game froze and after a while it crashed. I did not attempt to reproduce it because it would be very fiddly for me ...
