Sure you don't have an integrated one on your motherboard? Pretty sure a Windows (or any modern graphical OS for that matter) can't run without one...

Suggestion: Since middle mouse button is used to reserve a spot, maybe press MMB and drag to select/draw more tiles and when you release you get the same dialog as for current MMB, but it applies to all now selected tiles?

Agreed 100%. Seriously needs to be an easier way to reserve several slots in wagons (and chests for that matter) to one kind of item. I've currently "solved" it by creating a couple of "blueprint" wagons I can copy from, but it's not a particular clean solution, and only works if...

I don't think a train station entity is necessary. For one, trains are being redone for 0.13 and will likely be aligned with the grid, making it easier to line the inserters etc. up with the train wagons. I find the loading and unloading of trains a bit silly at the moment. The whole adding lines of inserters <> chests <> inserters <> belts... trying to line them up with the wagons... and so on... maybe someone likes it, but I just find it annoying and a bit weird. Love this for automating without having to run around killing stuff all the time. The recipes could maybe be made more "natural" though? Would imagine researching alien science is a bit more cumbersome than taking half a second :P Also would make more sense (I think) to make alien artifact...
