Re: Prevent accidentally ALT-toggling "show info"

Never noticed this issue because I always click out of the game window, and never Alt+Tab. Those who do can easily change the keybinding while optimising them to their own preferences, so I don't see much need to change the default. Neither would I mind if it did, though. I would like to see some di...

Did you move any roboports nearby?
Check whether the box is actually in the orange logistic area of a roboport, not the green construction area.

Re: Don't consume locked items in toolbar

Anyone sane is gonna dump a few hundred iron plates into an assembly machine if he plans a pipe-heavy contruction, such as setting up the first oil. But you might run out towards the end, or just need a handful in the first place, under which circumstances handcrafting is appropriate. Regardless of ...

Re: Don't consume locked items in toolbar

It takes much more time than quickly handcrafting something.

Automation of production of things like pipes makes no sense before setting up an logistics system. Chances are you spend more time running to pick up the pipes than it takes to make them.

Re: [14.21] Uknown CTD on startup

I think it might have been cosmic ray :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_ray#Effect_on_electronics Studies by IBM in the 1990s suggest that computers typically experience about one cosmic-ray-induced error per 256 megabytes of RAM per month. After reading that I'm surprised that we don't have ...

3 sets of Power Armour MKII with different equipment, bunch of Roboports, bots, Assembly Machines 3, Speed Modules 3 and Efficiency Modules 2, Electric Furnaces, Destroyer Capsules... But then there is already no need to start a new game any more, I'd still have enough space left to bring all the pa...

Re: Tool belt improvements

2.Items in a reserved slot should not be used for crafting. example: creating more fast inserters than I have inserters will use all my inserters, leaving my toolbelt empty. If it refused to use those, then players would wonder why they can't craft something they have the parts for. I think it woul...

Don't consume locked items in toolbar

I would like that crafting would not use items I have in an reserved slot in the toolbar. Same way it works with ammo currently. If I have piercing rounds in the ammo slot, and want to make drones, it crafts new rounds, and does not use the ones in the ammo slot. It should work the same way with oth...

Re: X amount to craft

I suggest a slider on top of your crafting UI similar to the one for the logistic requests that lets you set right click amount. Easy to implement, intuitive, and effective.

Worms and Turrets

There's a lot of discussion around regarding turret creep, and potential ways to nerf it, from buffing worms (hell no) to entirely new mechanics. I got a fairly simple suggestion: Make turrets unable to target worms. -Worms are underground enemies. It would be entirely logical for them to be able to...

Re: Is this a Resolution Problem?

Is there a way i can change the resolution? I cant see my pressurized bar. Still happens to me playing on WQHD. Imo the right side information bar should be broader. It's not visible most of the time, so that doesn't obstruct vision either. In the game options menu there's a setting for UI scale. R...

Re: CTD when finishing LAN game

I was able to reproduce the crash!

Played another game.
Again unlocked achievements. Different ones this time. Still don't think this matters, though.
Client pressed finish first.
Host pressed finish.
Client crashes.

We loaded the last autosave, and tried again. Same result, it's reproducible.

That's why it's a logistic assembly machine.
