looking great! I'm excited to play 2.1. I'd suggest lowering the speed the planet moves during departure/arrival. It's a small detail, but the current speed feels weird to me as somebody who's played Kerbal Space Program. Perhaps it just needs a smoother change in velocity? To get KSP to look like ...

Since this seems to be the late game for Factorio development, it would be neat if the team would release any unused assets into the game an allow mods to reference it. The only quality of life change I can think of is to make it easier to drive a tank (and other vehicles) long distances. Something ...
