I'm not sure what caused this. I was driving a train, entered the map screen, and my game crashed.

this would be cool. my idea is it could kill your crops (rather than accelerate spoiling), causing them to start spoiling early while halting their progress so you can't get the full yield.
so your factories would need to be far enough away from your farms so the pollution doesn't kill your crops.
