OK so dug a bit deeper and it seems this works for the Steam version but the installed version still has the same issue. Just assuming I am updating the wrong config file for the installed client. Thanks.

Getting the same error with that added to the config.ini file in C:\Users\ricej\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\config. Note: I am fine with disabling the display adapter as a work around until you have time to apply a fix.

Has something to do with the second display running on the Intel driver. I disabled that display adapter and Factorio was able to run. I did also try update the intel driver but that did not solve the problem.
