Re: Gleba has killed the game for me.

On a side note, I used to worry about having too much spoilage, then I built boilers and started burning off the spoilage. Then I realized I needed some of that spoilage, so I belted all spoilage through a priority splitter and burned off the overflow. Now I need to make a substantial carbon fiber ...

Re: Strange Heat Pipe behavior?

Screenshot (34).png In the attached picture you will notice that the heating tower has a constant supply of fuel yet the temperature of the heating tower does not move beyond 514.11 degrees. Also the nearby heat pipes will not move from 501 and 502 degrees while the adjacent boilers continue to reg...

Re: What's your interplanetary logistics and Space Platform strategy?

So far, I'm only at four platforms established and a fifth testing in creative mode. The first is the space science station over Nauvis (Laconia Orbital). I'm not really at the big infinite sciences with space science yet, so an orbiting station is fine. I'll convert it into a proper ship when I ram...

Re: Is there an endgame-balance for planets ?

You're not accounting for the massive productivity bonus that's applied to biochambers at three stages for the ore production chain. So all ore costs have to be multiplied by (1/1.5)^3 or ~0.296... So it's actually ~0.74 yumako and ~0.296 jellynut per ore. And that's before we start adding producti...

Re: Is there an endgame-balance for planets ?

I found myself using Gleba as my main hub. It was so efficient turning fruit into iron and copper I did not need lava. Both are infinite. That way I never had to worry about spoilage of the packs. Sorry this is so long in coming, but could you elaborate how? Advanced cultivation nets 3 ore per biof...
