Re: Ban quality modules from asteroid crushers
Besides, recycling lines are like the worst method for traditional quality. It's almost always better to recycle into a container like what sane people do in Fulgora. The optimal solution to vanilla upcycling is just building a big dumb bot base and enough yellow chests for byproducts of a life ...

Re: Ban quality modules from asteroid crushers
An alternate configuration it looks like this. Attached is a blueprint so the curious may determine the rate. You may also simply place a mining car on a train track. And judge for yourself.

This design cannot work, because the mining drill will create legendary coal and ...

Re: Ban quality modules from asteroid crushers
the setup is VERY easy to understand, when the mining drill produce too much ore for the recycler it can clog, which won't happen before 200 level of mining productivity, then you need a slower module on the beacon, but if you reach the 250's level, then you gonna need to move the beacon so it ...

Since I am rather upset I made sure to retest this.
Jam time is sub 10 minutes at 250 research. At 240 research it's about 30 minutes.

Re: Ban quality modules from asteroid crushers
Excuse me. The picture mmmPI produced shows that all the stack inserters are set to filter legendary items into a cargo wagon. It's rate of movement is 0 ips.
Edit: I am so pissed, I missed the less than legendary symbol.
Not sure why you would say that to me, but as usual it's wrong and easy ...

I mean, if it isn't okay for someone to mix up any words, regardless of circumstances. It's beyond not okay for two healthy adult friends to do it intentionally. You could at least have bothered to spell my name right PI. The tie breaker would be if two people did it constantly to bully users, in ...

Exactly, that's about the state at which I unlocked legendary. My point is, grinding for enough infrastructure without asteroid reprocessing from that state won't be fun.

Re: what should I improve with this simple coal liquifaction setup?
Previously given advices were all goods, but i woud like to extend the list with "tilability", reorganizing the buildings to add the missing connexion and space for beacons can also allow to make it so the setup is easily "copy pasted" or duplicated and that helps a lot.

Re: Ban quality modules from asteroid crushers
For me it's a bit deeper. There's a logical fallacy in assuming you have an infinite amount of resources and the law of large numbers will somehow "make everything pan out"
Not everything, but it's fairly easy to math out when you can expect stabilization and with which % of accuracy. The ...

Re: Ban quality modules from asteroid crushers
The divisions by four are balanced by the fact you have a higher quality% in the process.
What ? It seems to me that the division by 4 are balanced by the fact that you have 25% chance of getting something as a result if the original value was 1. 1/4 = 25%
I... really don't understand your ...

Re: Ban quality modules from asteroid crushers
The repeated divisions by 4 hit an item which is clearly not being multiplied by 4, so you're always losing something. More often than not you're penalized for being creative.

Re: Allow Biolabs on every planet *except* Gleba
By suggesting biolabs could be placed on Gleba you're suggesting to remove what was described as "latency concern" in the supply chain.
If you choose to build the labs on Gleba.
Why would you argue for labs to be placed on Gleba if not because you want to remove the "latency challenge" for ...
