So in Factorio 1, it made sense for escape to take you out of Map mode and back to regular mode. If you needed the menu or whatever it wasn't a big deal to go back to whatever you were doing.

But in Space Age, leaving map mode takes you to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLANET a lot of the time ...
