Yeah car is good for early exploration and some cleaning of small biter bases. I find that, in those small underdevelop biter bases, acid spit are usually easier to dodge than isolated trunks or rocks... :mrgreen: However, as time goes, there is a severe increase in (big)worms defending base and car...

Use it in a small setup to produce steam for coal liquefaction eventually...
I personnaly store it near steam engines that start runing with an alarm when my nuclear setup become undersized. The time i react and resize my nuclear setup, most of the wood will have been burnt!

Are you sure the area you want to zoom in is in the view zone of a radar?

o/ When you use the crafting UI, it highlight the item in your inventory if you have it. I would love to see this feature extended to character inventory <-> chest inventory transfert so when i resupply i know if i already have the item i want to take(or if the chest have the item i want to put in!)...

As title said.
I use Put water pump to feed my nuclear setup with water. Willing to extend the place, i use Landfill to make a clean and regular coast line without removing actual Water Pump and there is still water flowing through the pipe!

https://www.youtube.com/user/MangledPork has a "factorio railworld" and "factorio town" 0.14 Playlist. Its not gigabase though so the railworld is quite limited compared to some other youtubers! Also the video is x3 speed which gave me headaches sometimes. I think you should search for mega/gigabase...

I've started a tweaked railworld in 0.15, and honestly the first setting i tweaked was to lower the oil patch size to medium ( down from big). Most of the oil patch are around 5/6 wells, however i have some that are 10+ but quite far away... But i think that its more the original setting of the map ...

At ores looks that deposit sizes and richness rise when you go more far away from base. From what i know, only the richness increases when going further, size doesn't grow bigger. If i remember correctly, the first raild world preset has defaut uranium patch size set to medium?, so you will not fin...

I think you need something more complex than that. As described, it never starts, since D is empty at start. If D is ever full, it loads the reactor continuously while steam is less than 500, rather than loading just one. Make me think about using D as some sort of flag, though. Where D gets emptie...

Maybe use the fact that when the cell is depleted, the reactor output empty cell
use 3 chests: fuel assembly -> A->B->Reactor->D
- inserter assembly->A always works
- inserter A->B work when D has more than one item (ie empty fuel cell)
- inserter B->Reactor works when low steam?
