So there is net positive combination of quality quality and speed module, where lower chances are more than countered with increase of speed.
This is the thing. Legendary Speed 1 modules can be quite effective because they don't provide as much of a bonus or penalty. For fewer module machines ...

Rocket upgrades as a balance of cargo/launch limits?
Just had a thought when looking at the change in gameplay once I sent a nuclear plant up onto the platform.
Could the feeling of inconsistencies in launch quota be balanced by having upgrades that at 50% or so? Or double it? Probably limited to 4 or 5 stacks max.

You should stop looking at vanilla Nauvis and Space Age Nauvis as the same thing. Space Age’s tech shuffle doesn’t simply make Nauvis worse, it redefines what Nauvis is. They could offer a repel force, at the cost of using up the valuable power and space on the platform.

I guess my suspension of belief is that some light items just need a LOT of packing to survive the g forces.

Ah, I thought this was negative quality, but it just reduces it to zero I guess. If it stacks too much negatively (speed modules etc), it reaches zero, but not negative.
Would be interesting modules taking the output quality down a level... not sure what I'd do with that, except make up for lower ...
