[2.0.23] Game Crashes when starting a new world as an edited scenario

I wanted to edit a world that I was playing but after I did I would try to play it and my game would crash. I expected the game to load up perfectly fine but it didn't and it happens every time. 20 hours of gameplay lost to this bug.
