FYI a workaround for the "Collapse" button is to hit "M" twice (whatever key you have bound to bring up remote view/map). When you exit remote view the handcrafting queue will be collapsed again. This doesn't help for tinkering with recipes in the queue.

Maybe the queue could be right-aligned ...

Thank you IsaacOscar, I have my "Tooltip delay" set fairly high but somehow I never noticed there's a separate control for "Entity tooltip display", even though the settings are right next to each other. It is not a false callout, a friend had a seizure during gameplay going up to space, though I will grant you that correlation is not causation, there are many possible causes for a given seizure, and the flickering (which was noticeable to me several feet away) was made worse by a bright display in ...

1. Read the "Tips and tricks" entry on "Heating mechanics": "Every entity needs to be touching a heat source order to not freeze. The exception is electric poles, [Entity: Solar panel] and [Entity: Accumulator].

Tooltips appearing for elements that aren't even visible on the screen are generally bugs in the UI.

Also: it turns out mouseovers remain active at the very edge of the screen in fullscreen mode. So that suggestion does not seem to work.

This is a long-standing interface issue and as my wrists get older, it becomes more relevant.

Thanks for the link, I searched for "focus" and your post didn't turn up. I agree both issues should be corrected -- if a dialog has a "discard changes" confirmation then it shouldn't be so trivial to completely bypass it.

Also for me the issue is specific to the "Add station" dialog. "Change stop name" (accessed via the pencil icon in "Train stop" or via the "Station is (not) full" wait conditions) is sorted correctly per my locale settings.

This bug is not Aquilo-specific; rather it is specific to tiles that are placed over liquid. You can place a ghost offshore pump on Nauvis landfill using the above technique either in direct player view or remote view. I'm guessing most tiles on Aquilo are considered "floating" on the ammoniac ocean ...
