So I was browsing the internet and stumbled onto this video http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/6948617 ... ectie.html
First thing that came into my mind, thats a great idea for factorio. Maybe a type that replaces the normal conveyor belt but before the drones.

Re: Version 0.12.0
If you don't like the new biters, you can mod them out of the game. That's the great thing with games that are modifiable, if you don't like it, remove it. :) True.. but when a game is still in development that answer is really a bad answer. If most people really don't like a feature you should add...

Re: Uncertainty factor
Well.. my topic isn't really about map generation but more about a "less predictable" game. Every game plays out the same. The map generation maybe a part of it, but mainly because resources are visible from the start. People just start a new game until they find the starting point to thei...

Re: Uncertainty factor
Prospecting during MP pvp would be fun.. if you see one of your opponents building defenses in the middle of nowhere you know you want to start heading that way... or is he just trolling me?

Re: Uncertainty factor
The game is very addictive and has a lot "before I head to bed... - damn.. is it 1 hour later already?!" moments. But as I play a fresh game, it feels a bit too predictable. I just gave some examples and I am sure the devs will have their own examples. I just want every fresh game to have ...

Re: Uncertainty factor
Well.. that.. and missing resources which forces the player to find a replacement for it. But in order for a player to know which resources the planet has he/she needs to prospect. Starting with early game prospecting, eg just digging some holes, to late game prospecting which requires advanced gadg...

Re: Endgame concerns[POLL]
I haven't got to the point of doing the endgame part. But what I was expecting is colonist landing on my build landing platform and I needed to provide them with stuff to allow them to sustain and increase the base they are building. Forcing me to expand my operation with every colonist landing as t...

Uncertainty factor
As I am playing the game I miss uncertainty factors. I mean, I just have to look at the screen and I know what I can and cannot setup at that spot. This makes every game the same. Same for reaching goals. Every thing you build has the same parts/resources. What if the planet does not have oil? The p...

Audio device settings
Hi, I am really enjoying the game, after I died in the demo version I bought the official one :) So, what I like to ask to add a setting where I can select the audio device. Bit like Teamspeak. I ask this because I have multiple audio devices (Main, headset, and sp/dif) and I stream music from one d...
