Re: [2.0.76] Loading specific save from 2.0.60 causes bulk inserters to be replaced by stack inserters

Thanks a lot, I will try that!

Is there a way, via command or anything, to also un-research the Gleba inserter tech and undo the twice applied bonus from the twice researched classic bulk inserters?

I will also see if I can get any logs. From when would these ideally be?

As for other information ...

Re: [2.0.55] Crash in save menu (ServerSynchronizer::pruneSentHeartbeats)

Sorry for the late reply, since that crash I had spent most time away from Factorio and forgot to report back. I am by now pretty confident it was a memory issue, after some weird bluescreens some time later, I ran MemTest86 on that machine and it did show some very rare issues. So I think you can ...

[2.0.76] Loading specific save from 2.0.60 causes bulk inserters to be replaced by stack inserters

Hi there, we are facing a weird issue.

Last time my friend and I continued our save was about 8 months ago, on 2.0.60. I usually hosted (and saved the games), but that last time, it was my friend who saved the game. So when we wanted to continue today, he sent me that last save file. Upon loading ...

[2.0.55] Crash in save menu (ServerSynchronizer::pruneSentHeartbeats)

Hey there. I cannot reproduce this crash, but since this is the first time in perhaps 7 years that I had Factorio crash, I decided to post the log anyway just in case it can help.

Basically: I was playing a session with a friend, saving as we were about to finish. Then we actually played for 2 or 3 ...

Re: Unintended extra click when setting up recipes due to the "Quality" dropdown.

Copying my comment on a previous update post:

My suggestion would be that clicking an item should immediately close the window with whatever quality was selected first. This would streamline the 95%+ of the time where you just want to set a normal item like in the past, and for the other 5% you'd ...

Re: Allow pressing E to confirm number input fields, by dropping support for scientific notation

Fully support this, I have found myself pressing E, then having to backspace and hit enter... nearly every single time I use a number field.

Delete/reset specific achievements?

Hey there, I am aware it is possible to reset/delete all achievements via the "Settings" -> "Other" -> "Delete Achievements" option. However, I have the following situation:

I am playing with a friend, and we have our achievements progress at the same time due to that. But I did some experimenting ...

β€œ [space-age] Streamlined quality selector to use separate buttons for each quality instead of a drop-down.”

For anyone who has tried it, does this resolves the issue with needing 2 clicks for setting each recipe after researching quality?

It does not.

My suggestion would be that clicking ...

Re: Add space platform deconstruction animation.

Even just playing the construction animation just the same way again, without reversing, would work fairly well.

Definitely support this, construction looks so nice already, deconstruction appears so bland in comparison.

Re: Gleba has killed the game for me.

I went to Gleba first, and while I agree it's a huge challenge, I really love the planet!

The setting is very cool, both graphically and style-wise (I love having a very-alive planet after all the typical hostile environment sci-fi tropes like volcanic, ruins, desert, etc.). With a bit of thought ...

Re: Allow logistics transfers between space platforms

Just came across this post while searching online on how I can send stuff to another platform instead just down to a planet - I thought I was just not finding the option, since it seemed so intuitive.

Please really add this! Orbital construction or docking stations are a staple of spacefaring sci ...
