Seems like it could be something to do with rendering, as trying to force build from the map scale remote view doesn't cause the same impact as viewing it in the game-world/zoomed-in.

[Lou][2.0.15] Force building blueprints/copy-paste over water causes significant fps/ups loss

Hey there!

I was making a blueprint for a standard tileable nuclear reactor for a megabase, when I try to force build the blueprint to place landfill as well it causes significant frame loss, see example video.

Here's the blueprint string if that is helpful.

Are there any plans to change this? I am currently using cars to bridge between trains and assemblers for direct insertion and after an error I'm faced with deconstructing dozens of cars manually. It seems a little odd that you can specify vehicles in the deconstruction planner even though it can't ...
