The TLDR is that those percentages effectively mean absolutely nothing (and never will) except that some non-zero number of people have earned them playing the Steam install without using any mods.

I am honestly a bit surprised to see such low percentages. Are people ...

Re: Anyone else find gthe default settings more attractive in Space Age?
From other side of view, base 1.1 Factorio existed for many years, and addons was a way to play something new, while 2.0 is up for just a month. Maybe some years later 2.0 will also require addons to be more exiting.
For sure. I will eventually give some a try. One of the first will be ...

Re: Anyone else find gthe default settings more attractive in Space Age?
Yeah, how much have you played pre-SA Factorio ? How much have you played SA, in particular post-rocket ?
Also, you don't exactly explain : what made you keep restarting games (before or after getting to the endgame ?) ?
Cannot be sure because I stopped playing Steam about 4-5 years ago. It was ...

Anyone else find gthe default settings more attractive in Space Age?
Of all the many cool new things, one thing that has been occuring to me is how 1) I no longer have much desire to try death worlds, rail worlds, or other alternate game settings, 2) playing with mods no longer interests me, and 3) I'm much more inclined to keep playing the same save than to go start ...

Re: 88/88 Achievements DONE
I'm more interested in finding out how you went about beating the game in 40 hours. What was your strat? Planet order? About how much time per major milestone? How many playthroughs did it take to secure all 88 achievements?

In editor, how do I make aquilo surface freeze like in the game?
I want to create my blueprints in the editor and test some builds, but when I create an Aquilo surface in the editor (vanilla space age, no other mods), it's exactly like aquilo in-game but nothing freezes, so I cannot be sure I have placed heat pipes. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

Re: It takes too long to get to new Space Age content
I feel like the time it takes to get to the new content is just too much.
I've been rushing to get off-planet and at 25h in I have a basic space platform
The space platform is off the planet, and it's new content.
I'm a very slow player, but I also have earned all the speed achievs ...

Looking for best way to move imported resources from cargo hub to rest of factory
I know how to get metal, science packs, calcite, and machines and stuff to the planet, but after it is in the cargo hub, I want to optimize how I get these things out to the rest of the factory where I need them. There are a limited number of squares around the hub to put inserters on. So far, I am ...

Re: Please explain the "why" of asteroid reprocessing?
...And there are totally situations where you might want one of the asteroid types to be more common because you want more of the resource they give.
The asteroid reprocessing then helps you with that issue because it lets you recycle the chunks that you don't need & have too many of into the ...

Please explain the "why" of asteroid reprocessing?
I kind of get what the numbers say, but I do not understand how this will benefit me and embiggen my factories? Does it translate into larger amounts of ore or just even out the numbers? Or does it allow me to target more of a specific ore?

How do you decide how many items to request on a requester chest?
I know how/where to set the request. This question is how to arrive at the number. What factors or principles do I consider?
I am thinking about switching over to logi bots for Gleba, and it occurs to me going for a smaller number might be best? I'll use belts to get the stuff from the farms but ...

Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers
Will the rockets pull from buffer chests to fill a request?
Or only from passive provider and storage?
In other words, will materials in a buffer chest safely stay there for that planet instead of being taken away? Requester chests will not pull from buffer chests unless you tick the box ...
