Re: [2.0.28] Non-latin character limit in combinator description is lower
Most likely reason is a fixed memory allocation for descriptions. Latin characters are more commonly used, therefore encoding standards such as UTF-8 prioritize them and allow them to only use 1 byte of memory per character. Using characters from different alphabets requires more bytes, increasing m...

Re: Strange Heat Pipe behavior?
Also the nearby heat pipes will not move from 501 and 502 degrees while the adjacent boilers continue to register "low temperature". That's because a single heating tower generates enough heat for only 4 heat exchangers . Heating tower - generate 40MW of heat Heat Exchanger - consume 10MW...

[2.0.28] Graphical bug - flickering screen
Hi, I've been having this weird problem where the screen would start to flicker ( Screen recording ) once every few hours and would only stop after switching to another tab. The doesn't seem to be a clear correlation to anything I do in-game. It would also sometimes cause graphical glitches to persi...

[2.0.23] Behaviour on remote deconstruction of a roboport with a bot request
Hi,
It seems that deconstructing a roboport doesn't cancel its requests.
If a stray bot enters it while clearing up the internal space of roboport, it takes quite a lot of time for a new group of bots to come and remove them.
I'm attaching video evidence of the bug

Re: [2.0.11] Game freezes on research updates
Sure, here it is. Restarting the computer seems to solve the issue. I was unable to reproduce it. Even with going to the previous save. These should be the relevant Error messages: 8588.834 Error HttpSharedState.cpp:178: CURL failed: code:7, 7; Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 52972: Connection r...

[2.0.11] Game freezes on research updates
I'm playing on Acer Nitro 5 There are 2 most visible problems: 1. The game freezes for up to 10 seconds when entering or exiting the research menu. Sometimes it's even possible to pause the game and see the pause menu behind the research. When exiting, the game drops to around 15-30 FPS/UPS from nor...
