For some updates....

I have tried to downgrade the version to 1.x and it works as before without any mods.
But the issue persist when the game updated to any version of 2.x

Quite sure there is a change on 2.x about the file access method that cause inaccessible to the mod files which actually on ...

My copy is on Steam.

I tried to check the integrity before but it seems there is no discrepancies on the files.
And the game is installed to the default "steamapp" folder resides in the Steam default installation directory.
Also tried with different Windows user account and ...

Played a lots using the same PC before 2.x
And facing the issue that the game generate the following error when entering a new world
Even the background movie in the main menu is not loaded (See attachment)
