Oddly enough, moving Factorio to a different monitor and back has resolved the issue. Performing fine now.

I was playing last night with no issues.
Turned the game on this morning and was prompted to update to 2.0.9. Now I'm getting some serious lag. Nothing else has changed on my computer as far as I'm aware. I've restarted the both computer and game with no change.
