This is a great suggestion. Let's take it a little further. The ghost cursor menu has one benefit: it let's me place something I don't have in inventory or hotbars and can't easily eyedrop. I agree that we'll get used to the changes to blueprint mining, but there are QOL issues with the remote view and I worry missing 1.x features will get lost in the knee-jerk reaction to the new. A ghost cursor inventory comes up instead, which if intended, is a huge downgrade. But it seems like a bug, so I'm reporting it here.
