I've rolled back to 2.0.67 and could launch the game, then load my save, without issues.
edit: @Loewchen just saw your last reply, all I'm doing is launching Factorio, with chrome running in the background. it might be because I have an external GPU and an intel macbook (not the modern chipset)

I was still on 2.0.67. I upgraded to 2.0.68 and now starting factorio causes an OS freeze and crash. I've opened a different ticket.

I updated to the latest experiemental and now when I try and launch the game I get a computer freeze, followed by a OS level crash about 10 seconds later.
the only error I have is the macOS error;

@boskid has this also been fixed for Deconstruct and then undo? The same issue occurs then.

I want to be able to use every quality in a signal. I can use them in filters (inserters, splitters, storage slots in {steel boxes, cargo wagons, etc}, etc) but I can't set them as names for trains, train stations, or send/receive them over circuit networks/radars. hopefully the screenshots ...
