Attached save, re-saved from a recent autosave
The initial issue was a natural attack, but I've been able to cause the same with this save by driving towards the nest, getting out (so that it rolls into them), and watching it in the alert popup

I heard an alert sound for my car being attacked, and looked at it in the new alert preview popup. Game crashed as soon as I heard the car exploding.
