Same thing here. Running the game on steam through gamescope also fixes the issue.

Same issue here with plasma 6.4 on arch. Has anyone made a report on the plasma side?

Edit: Also is there any way to debug what went wrong here easily? It seems like making a bug report that says "Factorio rendering performance is terrible on plasma 6.4 using wayland as the preferred video driver ...

The resource progression added into the research tree is slightly strange but in normal gameplay you shouldn't even notice it. If you have a mod that skips part of the early game you should also use a mod to remove the resource requirements, I'm sure one will be available quickly. Playing the game ...

I don't see why using enqueue is an issue. Queue is not a word specific to British English only, it is however less common to use in American English. For example its used in technical contexts such as a "print queue", saying "print line" would not be correct. Enqueue follows the same line of ...
