Re: [0.16.51] Chainsignal stuck yellow
Could you give a better description to reproduce(like when you did it), and maybe the save?

Re: [0.16.51] Chainsignal stuck yellow
First of all all, your picture show a blue signal, a better picture or set of pictures would be nice.
Secondly Jap2.0's comment is therefore irrelevant, because he's referering to the blue signal.
I did some looking, and the save is quite "perfect".

Re: [0.16.51] Inserter stops putting ingredients in furnace
It's properly a problem with the type "furnace" not checking, if fluid storage is empty, like the type "assembling-machine" does.
Changing the type fixes the issue, but you'll have to select your recipes, which is properly not what you want.

Re: Version 0.16.47
The extent to which the windows username is personally identifiable data depends strongly on how you interpret the law text.
More like...how the judge interprets it. And that's often inconsistent between judges and/or courts. Better safe than sorry.

it's properly the browsers fault for handling something wrong.
I couldn't make it happen in neither "samsung internet" nor "chrome" for my phone.

Re: Version 0.16.47
I was thinking of this:
Every installation of Factorio would generate random string, and this string would be included in the log. Every time you install, the string would be different and there would be no way for us to know who is it related to.
But if we saw 10 different crashes with the same ...

Re: Version 0.16.47
The thing that seems problematic is the gathering of the data(automated upload of crashlogs).
so:
Is it legal to automatically, with a pre-checked box, to gather the pseudonymized information?
And so don't they need to inform us of this pseudonymized information?

I think it's a great solution, but I'm still a bit unsure about it, since there is still a connection.
I'll have another look at it and report back, if I find it problematic.

Re: Version 0.16.47
It actually creates an problem, as it is quite useful to have some idea whether the 10 crashes are from one guy or not, which is now even harder to guess.
In that case you have a legal explanation to obtain some kind of identification data, though you're still stuck behind the automatic checked ...

Re: Version 0.16.47
Some thing in GDPR sure feels like bullshit, at my job we're working on an update to a system, which contains names of the employees, and there is a high chance that we need to make a procedure of anonymising/deleting the names, when they stop being employees.

I removed it to calm down all the people who think the windows username is a breach of privacy.
More than that, keeping it would/could be against the GDPR laws, because the <user> part, could potentially be personal information, and gathering it via a pre-checked option would then be illegal.

Re: [0.16.43] Inserter waiting on wrong belt tile
I think it's a visual bug.
In my understanding, there is no difference here of the green linje going to the west or south, as it's still the same "transport line".
It also favor south instead of east, and also for inserter output(onto belt):

Re: [16.25]blueprints in Library is missing components pictures
I think you guys misunderstood what my bug report is about.
This is a (interface)bug because,
you just get blank squares instead of nothing, or squares containing the information:"This number of thing1 and this number of thing 2, and so on"
I don't want to edit it any way in the library, it's just ...
