TL;DR
Make Thruster Fuel and Thruster Oxidiser barrel-able to support platform-platform transfers and kickstarting large platforms
What?
Allowing thruster fuel and oxidiser to be barrel-able via removal of the current auto_barrel = false line.
Why?
Since 2.1 introduced platform to platform ...

Re: [2.0.9] Missing barrel recipes
well barrel some water or send asteroid chunks :D
Already barreling water to kickstart nuclear power when there's not much ice laying around. Asteroid chunks don't currently go through the hub on my ships so getting them out logistically forces me to completely redesign a ship for 5 minutes of ...

Re: [2.0.9] Missing barrel recipes
Ice, Iron ore, Carbon, and Calcite are all Transfer-able items already.
I understand your point, but why give us the option to have platforms that speed up the construction or supply of platforms, and then only allow them to be sent ingredients? Imagine pulling into a petrol/gas station in your ...

Re: [2.0.9] Missing barrel recipes
Hello, these things are not barrelable on purpose, (by the auto_barrel = false line in the prototypes)
With the release of 2.1 it would be really helpful if the thruster fuel and oxidiser specifically were barrel-able. Platform to platform transfers intentionally make getting a new ship setup ...

Is the secondary change making asteroid collectors at common quality not be absolutely trash?
Getting uncommon collectors is literally my only interaction with quality outside of the recycler.
Please can they get a base ...

Re: [2.0.11] Rocket Silo requests more than required
I've just encountered this too, it certainly feels strange that the platform is demanding far more resources than it actually requires.
In a space and storage restricted context like the plat form this definitely feels like it should be automatically setting the demand threshold. At least for ...

[Sanqui] Website return to top rocket
On the Friday facts articles I love the rocket return to top animation, I click it every week.
The rocket loads the animated gifs in on mouseover, but this is already too late to load a big png as the user is already interacting with the GUI.
It would be nice if the rocket was proactively rather ...

Re: Friday Facts #408 - Statistics improvements, Linux adventures
Great to see continued Linux / Mac support.
Is there any information about the possibility of the Factorio server binary supporting ARM? Especially with native Apple Silicon support now a thing.
I've personally been keen to run a Factorio server off a free tier Oracle machine for a long time.
