i think currently it is impossible to make quality trees from the modmaking side so that would be another option to add modding compatibility for all the mentioned and make the modders figure out the balencing/type of harvesting products

It might also be cool to have Worm size somewhat randomized and bigger Worms claiming larger Territories.
That might make it so you have to avoid These terretories until you get better wepons
