I really want to continue my older games and I can't switch to 2.0 because then the mods don't work. However, selecting version 1.1.110 under Betas in the properties tab in Steam does not work, the game stubbornly insists on loading 2.0.

What is a stacker bay?


Parallel rail lines prior to a stop (or set of stops) where trains wait. Similar concept as a depot, only meant to service a specific set of stations.

Kind of like this (and you can do diagonal, too):

Just for clarity sake, there is an actual disable feature of train stops (currently) that is different from setting train limits to 0. Setting the limit to 0 keeps the stop open for any trains already pathed to it, but prevents new ones from pathing to it, whereas disabling makes even current ...

The bold ones are the most critical I think. As soon as he gets blocked a little bit he starts to search for alternate routes.
The last one in the list is why everybody says disabling stations is bad ;)

I also think it happens mostly when those two happen, because trains need to wait every once ...

If a loading station has a full train load or more it's limit should be 1, otherwise 0.
If an unloading station can take a full train load or more it's limit should be 1 otherwise 0.

Use train limits on stations to get your trains to naturally spread out across the stations more. Either set them statically, or dynamically with circuits. And if you're doing any station disabling... don't.

Note that for 2.0, the devs are adding station priority and will be changing station ...

Wrong. But having a large amount of build order within construction reach without materials will make the queue longer so it takes more time to go through the list. But that just means construction bots will react a bit slower to build requests that can be fulfilled. Since you don't have the ...

Turns out there is some hard cap at 600 build orders, and if those build orders happen to be elsewhere on the map where they cant be fulfilled, robots everywhere stop working until those orders are done, or at least, that's what I can gather online about how this works.
