i think for something like this there needs to be a clear definition of what the biters want. if the biters are like animals which react to pollution then there is not much of anything the player can do for peace. .

The idea would be to have Bio-based chemical feed stocks from things like wood, starch, sugars, algae. Could be water farms, or land crops, or algal ponds.
