Okay now its just getting weird...

I managed to play for about 2 hours without a single hiccup, however the game did freeze when i restarted it to change some mods.

i tried using PROTON_LOG=1 %command% however no logs seem to have been generated for some reason

you could try and attach gdb and get stack traces to see where factorio might be stuck. I had posted this before but i had to stop playing for a couple of months, now that im back i have been focusing all my efforts on trying to fix this issue.

i cant seem to pinpoint a cause for this, but (seemingly) randomly my game just freezes and i have to force it to shut down, what im doing or ...

Recently factorio keeps freezing while i've been playing space exploration, with no response until i'm forced to stop it forcefully.

i have verified the steam files and the problem persists.

I'm running linux mint 21.1 Cinnamon if that helps, i also assume it not to be a hardware ...
