Re: [1.1.109] Landmines in range of worms drain UPS

Sorry, searched "mine", "mines", "landmine" but not "landmines". Still, I also provide an organic save where this caused UPS drops. I was about to write it off as "just biters being slow" if show-time-usage and show-entity-time-usage didn't report co...

[1.1.109] Landmines in range of worms drain UPS

Hello, I've been playing a 1000x tech cost challenge with biters enabled and using land mines to clear nests. Over time, I've noticed a degradation in performance and I eventually traced the issue back to leftover landmines and worms. I presume they are stuck in a constant "combat state", ...

It's disappointing to be honest. I can pump oil from 10,000 miles away and it will instantly appear at the other end? It's more a teleporter than a pipe. Keep in mind that due to the pulling rate being proportional to the segment's fullness, it will take quite a while before the segment has enough ...

And yet another mod gets integrated to the base game, but in an even better form. Not that I'm complaining, this looks awesome :D One suggestion that I would make, if rich text starts having actual functionality, then it should be more discoverable. As it stands it's a very niche thing that's kind o...

Re: Friday Facts #387 - Swimming in lava

Yeaaah, nice big bulky machines, they fit perfectly, really like the foundry idea! On another note of feedback β€” have you noticed that (all) mining drill's digging sound is very dull and almost as if it were of a low quality??? Almost as if it was recorded with low quality microphone. It is pretty ...

Speaking of which, the bigger curve radius means that with 4 tiles in between directions, now the minimal convenient blueprint module size is 32x32 tiles.
We have increased the big electric pole range to 32 to go along with this.
Finally, chunk aligned big electric poles!

Re: Friday Facts #376 - Research and Technology

Are the changes to technology (and I assume the engine additions too) enabled in the 2.0 update or the DLC? I'm not sure about the processing techs being unlocked just by mining a resource. It's weird that mining a piece of uranium tells you the secrets of centrifuges. I think it could be better if ...
