Some recipes are missing subgroups, but they still appear correctly in the crafting GUI because of some "background magic". This makes mod creation slightly inconvenient when you want to index all recipes from one group such as intermediate-products .

TL;DR
Vulcanus is too grindy in rock and ash tree mining before getting the first Foundry so my idea is to reduce the amount of stuff in the starting area, but make them more lucrative so you can faster collect resources from them to make the Foundry instead of mining rocks for a few hours ...

I'm no techie, but maybe there's an easier (for modders) solution? How about the game being able to bake a stack sprite in memory on the fly. That should be able to remove the need for modders to bake sprites, have a short loading time as you don't load all variations of sprites that you don't need ...

where would the files for the "base mod" be located? even with a fresh install of the 2.0.12 update, my game tried to load the 2.0.10 base mod and therefore, refuses to start


When i was modding, i noticed that the game has "Base" and "Core". They should be with the game's install folder ...

Point is, in vanilla this only shows up for trees, but with mods it really starts showing up. Especially buggy mods that have generous selection boxes. I remember playing a big lab mod and i tried to replicate the issue before posting here, but i couldn't replicate nor remember the save file ...

That action by default needs you to click the blueprint book icon and it's visible only after you unlock blueprint books by researching bots for the first time.

It's often annoying to download mods and sync settings. The sync doesn't save settings like the Controls. This is my solution.
