Re: Train stop improvement

My usual setup consists of one ore-drop-off station and many mining stations. There is a train per mining station. The trains goes back and froth between both. Having stop blue prints might be a good idea. In my case, I would have an ore pickup stop blue print and an ore drop-off-blue-print and I wo...

Automated biter clearing

Hi, in the very late game biters do not present any challenge. They are just annoying and it is time consuming to manually clear large areas of biters. You need to do this constantly to get access to new mineral patches. Perhaps it is a good idea to have a long range combat robot base where you can ...

Train stop improvement

Hi, I want to be able to set the train behavior at stops and not in the train. Currently, the train schedule planner determines whether a train waits until it is full or until some time passed until the train continues. I have an ore dropoff point where many trains dump their content. Unfortunately,...

It is a pain when you put down your new 40 factory green circuit setup and need to cl...

Re: Friday Facts #198 - Rail segment visualisation

Perhaps color the rail sprites instead of drawing a line on top of them. Drawing it with a shifted hue should suffice.

Re: Linux+Swtiching desktops=>CTRL release not registered

I think the easiest "fix" is to pool the keyboard state every 500ms or so in addition to handling the key press and release events. The CTRL key state would still be broken for 500ms but I doubt that a user would notice. If the key synchronization is fast enough, one could also go down to ...

Linux+Swtiching desktops=>CTRL release not registered

Hi, I regularly have my game open on one virtual desktop and my music player open on another. I switch between the desktops using some keyboard shortcuts to change the music that is currently played. After coming back to factorio sometimes believes that the CTRL is being pressed while it isn't. My s...
