Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
I'm working on bringing 2.0(vanilla base game) update to the Nintendo Switch. Space Age is a no as there's not enough RAM(3.2GB RAM+VRAM available to the application) for all the textures and 5 planets worth of factories. Also CPU can't update 5 planets on 60 UPS. I will include more information in...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
As only Nintendo regulations prevent Third-Party-Mods on the switch version, i am sure the DLC will be available on Switch. Surely from a legal standpoint there wouldn't be any issues with this expansion. However, I've seen people talking about the hardware of the Switch not being able to give the ...

Re: (web) Searchable Factorio Server List
Is there any way to add detection for vanilla servers? Anyone on switch using this resource has to either see that the service says a mod, or guess. It does list the number of mods on the server already, but I could add a filter for modded or non-modded servers only. Thanks for the suggestion. Upda...

Re: The Blueprint Hub
... Honestly even something as simple as a regular session of helping people get blueprints is understanding things would be amazing. I might reach out to the multiplayer section of the forum for this, though hosting it on switch might be interesting to say the least. I spend time considering the i...

Re: The Blueprint Hub
There is no current alternative for console players aside from either building their blueprints entirely by hand or asking friends on PC to bring it to them. I think the third one is the main point we're trying to address here, so does anyone have ideas on how to work with that? Probably not what y...

Re: The Blueprint Hub
There could be an in between page alerting users that they are leaving official pages, something along those lines. I do see your point through. This isn't quite the solution for the problem presented. I see the problems presented as three things. The currently used BP hub isn't moderated by wube so...

Re: The Blueprint Hub
. As to the idea of having an in-game browser that connects to a specific website, I know of at least two games that currently run on the switch that currently have that function. what games? I know Warframe uses this function in order to view news and patch notes from in game, loading the actual p...

Re: The Blueprint Hub
TLDR : I read everything, and still think a library could be a good idea. Please forgive me in advance for the long drawn out series of thoughts, but I felt it appropriate to address a majority of things previously mentioned in this thread. Feel free to disregard this if it seems too long as I've li...

Global shared blueprint library
TL;DR A library of blueprints that can be searched by anyone, and accessable in game. What ? An in game search function, similar to the multiplayer search function, that allows players to find blueprints that are shared. Each player would be able to share a certain number of blueprints and use a ch...

Re: <Switch> Blueprint importing
Hi there - I am not new to the game but I do only have the switch version. I was hoping to have some help with saving some specific blue print books. Looking to get the Nilaus Masterclass saved, as well as the Raynquist Balancer Book. Is there anyway someone could help host a game for me that I can...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
Back from hiatus, yeah I've seen some things go from my inventory to the abyss, so that's not entirely surprising. Though it's stopped recently, which is good but not listed on patch notes so it wasn't an intentional fix I don't think. Currently I'm still trying to find ways to get blueprints aside ...

Tried to match the theme to how some people (me) look at the stages of their base. And kinda matched the letters where I could.

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
SE would nuke the switch, but the example is still valid. Even if it was something simple like, modular inserters, switch players would LOVE something like that. Having a few, commonly used mods, listed in the switch marketplace as free purchases so that players can choose for themselves if they wan...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
Both commands disable achievements and the first time one is typed, it need to be type twice to validate the disabling. In such case, i think the shortest command /editor or /cheat all may also be useful regarding the Qol rather than optimization answers are probably more useful :) At least on the ...

Re: <Switch> Blueprint importing
I'm hoping so. I'm struggling to learn how everything works currently and the wiki is helpful only once I figure out how to find what I'm not understanding. I'm trying to get a decent bp book for a starting base that cleanly upgrades into a train base since big bot networks don't work well on switch.

<Switch> Blueprint importing
Does anyone know a way, or have ideas to create a way, to import blueprints for switch players? As far as I'm aware, the few methods are as follows. - Copy a BP book from a multiplayer game - Manually recreate the blueprint - Connect a USB keyboard and type the entire string manually While the first...
