Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
Back from hiatus, yeah I've seen some things go from my inventory to the abyss, so that's not entirely surprising. Though it's stopped recently, which is good but not listed on patch notes so it wasn't an intentional fix I don't think. Currently I'm still trying to find ways to get blueprints aside ...

Tried to match the theme to how some people (me) look at the stages of their base. And kinda matched the letters where I could.

I like this, would be great for there to also be a reminder to research cliff explosives if you haven't yet

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
SE would nuke the switch, but the example is still valid. Even if it was something simple like, modular inserters, switch players would LOVE something like that. Having a few, commonly used mods, listed in the switch marketplace as free purchases so that players can choose for themselves if they wan...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
Both commands disable achievements and the first time one is typed, it need to be type twice to validate the disabling. In such case, i think the shortest command /editor or /cheat all may also be useful regarding the Qol rather than optimization answers are probably more useful :) At least on the ...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
Agreed with the above. I actively refuse to use vehicles aside from the train because I've destroyed SO many buildings.

Re: <Switch> Blueprint importing
I'm hoping so. I'm struggling to learn how everything works currently and the wiki is helpful only once I figure out how to find what I'm not understanding. I'm trying to get a decent bp book for a starting base that cleanly upgrades into a train base since big bot networks don't work well on switch.

<Switch> Blueprint importing
Does anyone know a way, or have ideas to create a way, to import blueprints for switch players? As far as I'm aware, the few methods are as follows. - Copy a BP book from a multiplayer game - Manually recreate the blueprint - Connect a USB keyboard and type the entire string manually While the first...

Can you get another photo of how it connects to the power grid? I can't copy the BP. (switch issues)

Re: Blueprint Library - Add a "Community" section tab
I could see something like this with a few modifications. A player could be limited to one added book, and there could be a search system included as well to search for tags added to the books. This would be ESPECIALLY helpful for switch players since there's no way to import schematics other than r...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
Honestly I'm all for qol or optimization mods. I literally got notified when I loaded my save today that I had to turn down sprite rendering quality of risk running out of memory. So yeah, there's that. Also who knew trees were so damaging to memory? I'm in a forest world essentially and my base jus...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
There are no statements of developers suggesting mod support for the switch in the future. Even if some kind of mod support would be implemented the technical limitations of only 4GB of total memory and the weakish processor would not allow to run mods like Space Exploration anyway. Perhaps this wo...

New section idea
Is it possible to create a section for the switch players? We have a wide set of limitations and differences compared to PC players. EX: if it can't be done in vanilla, we can't do it. The blueprint screen isn't entirely usable for us since on large BP's we can't reach the parts selection section be...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
First up a Super duper minor issue; The default keybind for Copy was SL, an inaccessible button when joycons are attached to the Switch. Solved because rebinding keybinds is simple, and also because Copy is accessible in Quick Panel. I've noticed this issue as well, I've managed to fix it by combin...

Re: Inefficient but compact
I like both ideas, I'm just trying to figure out what's possible to recreate given the Switch's two limitations of no modding and no importing blueprints except by passing them between players. (Can't even copy from chat)

Inefficient but compact
What's the smallest footprint you can make that gets to blue belts? I'm trying to find up with something small, and don't mind idling a while since I'll usually be cutting down swaths of trees and fighting off huge waves using most starter base builds I've seen.

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
They should make. The BP edit screen have a max size so the components section always fits in the bottom, or give it a second tab where you can edit the description on the switch. That or give us a way to zoom on the BP display so we can edit from inside there. I know their trying for parity but the...

Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
This thread looks to be the best place for me to provide my feedback about the game on Switch Nintendo Switch version 1.1.76 (build 60350, arm64-ns) I've launched a rocket, gotten a Spidertron and thoroughly enjoyed the game and wanted to give some feedback to help make this masterpiece even better...
