I've played the game a fair bit, and I usually have a spreadsheet that has information on my base to some degree, but it always tends to get disorganized and messy. Are there any tips for how I should design my spreadsheet?

Okay so I've been working on my factory a fair bit and I decided that I should make the cogs when I need them. So all machines that need cogs also have a smaller cog factory next to them, I've heard that this is a good plan for copper cables, but I'm not sure about the cogs.

most people run 4 lanes of belts and leave a gap of 2 between each group of belts.

This way you have enough space for balencers and underground belts.
