The difference between a spaceship and a space station is the engine. I build them at Nauvis and them fly them over to the target planet. I used a grid of 15 x 12 turrets with red ammo. Lure the (small) worm in and replace losses. It's an easy early tactic until you get better weapons tech. Vulcanus is the land of infinite iron and copper after all.
