Re: Friday Facts #33
Not inherently, thats Early Access. Greenlight is to get your approval to sell your game on Steam, in-development or finished.Darthlawsuit wrote:Steam greenlight is for developing games

Re: Friday Facts #33
I implore you guys to launch the full Greenlight campaign as soon as possible and here is why: You don't need to be anywhere near ready for 1.0 to start cultivating Greenlight votes, nor do you need to be ready for release when your Greenlight gets approved. It simply "reserves" you a spot...

Re: New forum skin
I think it looks fantastic. Really does feel like it has the 'Factorio' character now. Some of the text is too dark, but I'm assuming that's easily changed: http://i.imgur.com/Xj68ZZK.png Even more egregious http://i.imgur.com/U739szn.png But overall it looks good, fits the game's theme. Just needs...

Re: Learning curve for oil production and refinement
I think you've just summarized what makes Factorio brilliant. You finish a couple of important lines and think you've got the game mastered, then the game brings in new mechanics with new problems and you are a newbie all over again. If things didn't escalate you would be bored out of your skull in...

Re: Learning curve for oil production and refinement
Turn your heavy oil and light oil into solid fuel for your smelters until you research the next level of oil processing then you can turn the heavy oil into light oil and light oil into petroleum. Thanks, I didn't even think to try anything other than coal in my smelters. Though, I just got done mo...

Learning curve for oil production and refinement
Got my first from-scratch base built up over the past couple days. Pretty good red and green science pack assembly line going. Making steel bars, etc. But now I'm hitting a research/production wall where oil-based products are required: plastic, batteries, etc. I've setup oil drilling on the couple ...

Re: Friday Facts #32
I can definitely say the trailer did its job. I saw the trailer yesterday, downloaded the demo today and played all the way through, and then shortly after made my purchase. Great work! It seems like the ripe time to launch a full Greenlight campaign. What are you guys waiting for? Gotta strike whil...
