Glad you figured it out! I had a similar confusion with the trains/signals/etc. For example, did you know that stations have to be put on the RIGHT side of the tracks (instead of the LEFT) or else they won't work right?? Hah! Spent a couple days trying to figure that out. =p

Right, I just meant more the mechanics. Like explaining what the rail signals are for/how they work, etc, like it did for some other things when they were introduced. But, trial and error works too! =p

I figured I'd have to use the train, but I also figured that the game would tell me when/how to do that and give me some guidelines on train usage, like it has for other stuff. My mistake! Train is fixed (tho I'm still figuring out how they work) and mission is on it's way. Thanks folks.

So, I enjoy the game, but in the second campaign level, where you find the base and everyone is dead, I get to the point where I have to make 2500 piercing rounds, and a million other items, and there is NO WAY the resources around the base are enough to fulfill that. Especially the Iron and Steel ...

I agree with this. I often forget to start up another research after it pops up. An icon in the corner or something might be useful.
