My save game is on the same level (New Hope level 2) and I think I may have picked up that damaged box which the above thread tells you not to do as it corrupts the save game!

Hi, I get exactly the same error. The game crashed when I was playing, and I have been unable to load any of the autosaves since. I can start a new game. Is there a fix?
